Bert Cohen
Bert Cohen has been an entrepreneur in the natural & organic food industry for over 20 years.
In 2001, Bert co-founded Enjoy Life Foods, which became one of the leading allergy-free food brands and eventually was sold to Mondelez.
In 2008, Bert started TruSweets, an organic candy company, leading to a sale to Wholesome Sweeteners, and served on its management team until 2019.
Bert received his M.B.A. from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Alex Schneider
Alex Schneider has been an investor of food & beverage companies for 20 years. Previously, Alex worked at Keystone Capital, Golder Hawn Johnson & Morrison, and J.P. Morgan. He earned his B.A. and M.B.A. from Northwestern University.
A Chicagoland native, Alex lives in Evanston and serves on the faculty of Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
David Choe
David Choe has been an investor and operator in the food & beverage industries for 20 years. David previously was an investor at Prospect Partners and The Riverside Company, and before that at J.P. Morgan. He received his B.A. from Swarthmore College.
Originally from Tacoma, David resides in Los Angeles and currently serves as CEO of Jo’s Candies and is an operating partner involved with several Clover companies.
